The third edition of Aspen / magazine in a box was designed by Andy Warhol and David Dalton, neither were publication designers and it shows.
The six main contents are a trashy underground newspaper, a ticket book of essays on drug use, a flip book of two movies by Warhol, a book about a nature retreat, a folder containing three essays on rock 'n roll (plus a two-sided flexi disc with one side featuring the Velvet Underground) and a packet of twelve cards of pop art paintings.
This packet of cards has some copy inside the cover, the first line says: How do you know you are not being fooled?
I always thought the box cover was the best part of the whole issue.
