The dope chronicles / 1979 / selected pages

A book from 1979 dealing with drugs (or dope as it was called decades ago) and how big city newspapers sensationally covered the subject. What caught my eye when I first saw it in a second-hand bookshop was the unusual presentation, each  of the 288 pages is a collage of newspaper headlines and stories. Although each spread looks rather overwhelming it is possible to read a lot of the clippings.
It was designed by Ray Ward of Assemblage West. Copies are still available on the net.
