How a C//EQUE book works / Midland Bank / 1968

The Midland Bank (acquired by HSBC in 1992) issued this rather unusual sixty-six page bit of marketing in 1968 for students and new account customers though why a cheque book needed to be explained in such an elaborate and interesting way is a mystery. Using the same format as the real thing I always thought was a clever idea and using different papers with some foldouts adds to the interest. Oddly there is no designer credit, just Stock number 1810 on the back page
