Broad Spectrum / 2 & 3 / 1963 / Simpson Lee Paper

Two more clever paper samplers from Los Angeles design firm Gollin, Bright and Zolotow (the first of these I posted on July 30).
The flip books are interesting because they used a three hundred and one hundred and fifty screen with three inks: a tan and two press passes of matt black. The black in these little books is an incredibly solid one with virtually no light reflection.
The western booklet used a one hundred and fifty screen and five punched holes on the cover.
